Snake Bites and First Aid

Dear members,

With the emerging snake season we would like to update our list of veterinary clinics and hospitals that stock anti-venom for the treatment of snake bite. Such information will be open to the public as well as other veterinarians so that cases of snake bite can be treated as efficiently as possible. The existing list is here https://www.hkva.org/animalemergencies_anti-venom.asp for your reference.

For clinics and hospitals that stock the anti-venom (even those that are already on the list), please email our secretariat at secretariat@medcom.com.hk and please provide the following information:

• Hospital/Clinic full name
• Full address
• Telephone number (including emergency out-of-hour contact number)
• Website and email address (if available)
• Opening hours
• Types of anti-venom stock
