Position vacant: Senior vet to lead the Animal Medical Centre MongKok 24-hour Hospital


The Animal Medical Centre is looking for a Senior vet to lead our MongKok 24-hour Hospital. Team and clinical leadership skills are key, medical focus preferred and salary range HKD110-150k pcm.

The Animal Medical Centre is expanding in partnership with ECVetcare that provides medical, surgical and diagnostic services across Hong Kong.

Developing a culture that understands the need for a work-life balance

Vets can work 4, 4.5, 5 or 6 days per week.

Weekly rota scheduling is flexible as is annual leave booking.

Training is key

In partnership with Improve International (https://www.improveinternational.com/uk/) the AMC provides post-graduate certificates, that are equivalent to memberships, and are recognised internationally.

All vets gets a HKD12K CPD budget and 5 days of AL for CPD.

AIRC (https://www.provetlearning.com.au) training is supported for all veterinary assistants.

The AMC is upgrading facilities company-wide and recognizes the benefits of Fear Free and Cat Friendly practice accreditation.

Job Requirements:

  • Medical focus advantageous
  • Registered with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong
  • Competent in handling routine medical and surgical cases
  • Self-motivated, responsible and team oriented
  • Good communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Cantonese speaking is an advantage but not essential
  • Enthusiastic and willing to continue educate

  • Salary commensurate with experience: HKD110K to HKD150K pcm
