We are Concordia Pet Care, a young and dynamic veterinary clinic. Located in Happy Valley (No. 5-7, Blue Pool Rd), with over 10,000 sq. ft. is equipped with comprehensive and advanced facilities.
As a 24-hour clinic, we offer a variety of veterinary services to our pet owners, from general practice to specialized care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Our team is led by the reputable and highly respected Dr. Elaine (for canine/feline services, Diplomate ABVP; MANZCVS; CertAVP; Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist) and Dr. Zoltan (for exotic animal services, Diplomate ACZM; Diplomate ABVP; RCVS Specialist; GPCert).

Job description:

- Support veterinarians during examinations, surgical procedures, and other medical interventions.
- Perform routine in-house laboratory tests (e.g., blood tests, urinalysis, and microscopy).
- Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures (e.g., X-rays, ultrasounds and CT).
- Provide comprehensive daily care for hospitalized animals, including feeding, medication, administration, and monitoring vital signs.
- Interact with clients in a compassionate and professional manner. Provide clear information regarding pet health, treatment plans, and care instructions
- Maintain a clean and sanitary clinic environment by disinfecting treatment areas, sterilizing equipment, and organizing tools.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Requirement:
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and respect for clients and colleagues.
- A professional, positive attitude; must be self-motivated, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Assistant, Nurse, or Technician.
- Basic knowledge of animal healthcare and computer literacy; familiarity with ezyVet is a distinct advantage.
- A Certificate in Veterinary Nursing or relevant studies (e.g., AIRC certification) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese (for local candidates) to ensure effective communication with the team and clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.

- Monitor and provide clinical care for hospitalized animals, including the administration of medications and IV fluids.
- Observe and record patients’ conditions, vital signs, and behaviors, reporting any significant changes to the veterinarian.
- Lead and manage the inpatient nursing team, overseeing daily operations and shift handovers.
- Interact with clients in a compassionate and professional manner. Provide detailed information regarding pet health, treatment plans, and care instructions.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and nursing standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized inpatient ward to ensure the comfort and well-being of all animals.
Requirment:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in veterinary clinics, with a strong background in inpatient nursing and animal handling. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred
- A genuine passion for animal care, coupled with a professional, positive, and trustworthy demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, able to prioritize responsibilities and address challenges efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both clinical and administrative teams.
- A certificate in veterinary nursing or relevant studies (e.g., AIRC certification) is a distinct advantage but not mandatory.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
- Greet clients warmly and with genuine hospitality, assisting them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and coordinate appointment scheduling.
- Address client concerns promptly and provide accurate information regarding our services.
- Provide empathy and support to clients during difficult or stressful situations.
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technicians to ensure seamless patient care.
- Inform the veterinarian about emergency cases.
- Process payments, issue invoices, and accurately manage financial transactions.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks as assigned.
Requirement:
- Education: Form 5 or above.
- Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- A Genuine love for animals and interest in animal welfare.
- 2 years+ of customer service experience, previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred.
- Candidates with exceptional skills or a strong passion for working in the veterinary field will be considered, regardless of prior experience.
