Creature Comforts has been serving Hong Kong pet families for over 23 years, beginning in 2002 as the city's first house-call veterinary service and expanding with the Veterinary TKO Center in 2021. We proudly introduce the East Island 24-Hour Animal Hospital in Shau Kei Wan this year. Spanning 11,000 square feet across two floors, it is Hong Kong Island's first veterinary hospital purpose-built around Fear Free® principles.

Who we need?
- Veterinary Nurse (2+ years' experience)
- Experienced Emergency Veterinary Nurse (4+ years' experience)
Veterinary Nurse
Day-to-day duties:
- Provide professional and up to date quality care to veterinary patients.
- Assist veterinarians with consultations, provide nursing care to hospitalized patients and assist in surgery and dental procedures.
- Assist with performing X-rays and assisting with Ultrasound.
- Perform routine in-house laboratory procedures.
- Communicate and liaise professionally with clients, both in supervised and unsupervised situations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma with minimum of 2 years of veterinary nursing experience
- Basic understanding of common medical disease terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese. Including the ability to demonstrate high level of client education and communication.
Work Schedule:
- Full time: 5 work week, 9.5 -10 hours per day with 1-hour lunch break, with statutory entitlement
- Part time: 4 days work week, 9.5 -10 hours per day with 1-hour lunch break / Negotiable
Work Location:
Sai Wan Ho or Tseung Kwan O
Experienced Emergency Veterinary Nurse
Day-to-day duties:
- Provide inpatient and emergency care to patients from surgery, oncology and internal medicine, assisting with incoming emergencies and be responsible for case handovers each day.
- Work closely with the teams to ensure high standards of care are provided around the clock to our patients.
- Assist veterinarians with complex surgeries, consultations, diagnostic imaging, and other techniques
- Respond to client inquiries; including communicating and liaising professionally with clients, both in supervised and unsupervised situations, and recording and documenting client communication and feedback accordingly.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of veterinary nursing experience.
- Previous emergency and critical care experience will be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese (Cantonese is required)
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, team player and good team spirit
Work Schedule:
- Full time: 5 work week, 9.5 - 10 hours per day with 1-hour lunch break, with statutory entitlement
- Part time: 4 days work week, 9.5 - 10 hours per day with 1-hour lunch break / Negotiable
