Hung Hom Veterinary Clinic (HHVC) is seeking a motivated and skilled Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team. If you have a passion for animal care, strong communication skills, and enjoy caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and hamsters, we invite you to apply.
1. Experienced Receptionist (Full-time)
Requirements:
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a veterinary clinic (essential)
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Strong customer service skills and a collaborative team spirit
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Genuine love and respect for animals
- Mon–Fri: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, no weekend or public holiday work needed
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, respond to client inquiries, and schedule appointments
- Process payments, issue invoices, and manage daily financial transactions
- Deliver excellent front-desk service, handle stock deliveries, and coordinate lab sample pickups
- Assist with stocktaking, ordering, inventory control, pricing, and shelf packing
- Dispense medications and prescription diets; recommend over-the-counter products as needed
2. Experienced Veterinary Assistant (Full-time)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary assistant or nurse
- Fluent in Cantonese and with a basic command of English (translation skills are an advantage)
- Strong interpersonal and client communication abilities
- Compassionate approach toward patients and their owners
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Attention to detail and proactive in a team setting
Responsibilities:
- Manage client interactions, including phone inquiries and front desk duties
- Assist veterinarians during consultations, diagnostic imaging, and surgical procedures
- Monitor patients under anaesthesia and provide post-operative care
- Perform routine in-house laboratory tests
- Ensure high-quality hospital care for hospitalised animals

- Veterinary Assistant: 5-day work week (Mon–Fri: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Sat: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Sun & PH: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
