Position: Emergency Veterinarian

As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will:

• Provide urgent medical care to pets presenting with critical conditions or injuries during overnight shifts (21:00-09:30).
• Perform thorough examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Administer emergency procedures and treatments, including surgical interventions if needed.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and quality care.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.
• Prioritize and manage multiple emergencies simultaneously while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in veterinary emergency medicine.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current veterinary licensure in Hong Kong or eligibility for licensure.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in emergency medicine or critical care (preferably in a veterinary setting).
• Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of emergency protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with confidence and poise.
• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
