Positions Vacant: Veterinary Technician

Job Opportunity: Emergency and Hospital Veterinary Assistant at VEC Kennedy Town, Hong Kong

Position: Veterinary Technician (Day and Night Shift)
Location: VEC Kennedy Town, Hong Kon
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Take care of the daily needs of animals, including feeding, walking, and providing clean bedding and water.
• Clean and disinfect animal cages, exam rooms, and treatment areas
• Maintain and sterilize surgical equipment and assist veterinarians during surgeries.
• Administer medications to patients
• Assist in collecting blood, urine, and tissue samples for testing by properly restraining patients
• Perform laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and fecal exams, using automated equipment
• Keep patient charts updated with daily care information
• Perform medical imaging, such as X-ray, ultrasound, and CT scans

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the veterinary field, preferably with emergency and critical care experience
• Excellent spoken English and good interpersonal skills
• Experience working in Hong Kong is preferred
