Grace Exotic Animal Hospital is a contemporary exotic animal hospital founded in early 2024.
We are now seeking the right candidates to join our dedicated professional team. At GEAH, our veterinary team is dedicated to optimum patient care and the highest standard of veterinary medicine to our patients. We only consult for Small Mammals animal (Rabbit, Hedgehog, Rodents), Reptiles (Tortoise, Snake and Lizard) and Avian (Parrot).
Veterinary Assistant (Full Time)
Description:
- Assist veterinarian during consultation and surgery
- Administer medication as directed by veterinarian
- Take care of hospitalized animals and provide care and treatments
- Handle in-house lab tests and take x-ray
- Communicate with clients about the status of patients, as directed by the veterinarian
- Maintain cleanliness of consultation room and treatment areas
- 4 working days per week (on shifted public holiday)
- Compensatory day off for working on public holidays
Requirements:
- F.5 or above
- Exotic Animal lover
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills in Cantonese. Including the ability to demonstrate high level of client education and communication.
- Full time experience in veterinary nursing field is an advantage
- Certificate in veterinary nursing/relevant studies is an advantage
- Able to work under pressure
- Genuine love and care for animals is essential
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, independent and interpersonal skills
- Less or no experience but have experience in taking care animals might be considered as Animal Care Assistant
An attractive remuneration package, including the staff discount, bonus pay, overtime pay will be offered to the right candidate.
A monthly salary of HKD $14000 - $18000
Depending upon experience, salary is negotiable 4 days per week(on shifted public holiday), compensatory day off for working on public holidays.
